Pre-1996 Software, SeisRisk III

THIS IS AN OLDER VERSION OF THE HAZARD SOFTWARE
It was used for earlier versions of the hazard maps
!!! IT WAS NOT USED FOR THE 1996 HAZARD MAPS !!!

This software is documented in USGS BULLETIN 1772, "SEISRISK III: A Computer Program for Seismic Hazard Estimation" (Bender and Perkins).

Please also be aware that data processing programs for preparing input can be found by clicking on “mac” below. These programs are very helpful for understanding the program as well as understanding the inputs. The description of the input preparation codes can be found in Open File 92-529A:
