MEMORANDUM FOR BUREAU PERSONNEL OFFICERS

This is to inform you that the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has approved a special salary rate for Department employees in the GS-1529 Mathematical Statistician series, effective October 6, 2002. As the attached Table Number 0032 indicates, the special salary rate will cover grades 5 through 13 in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
