MEMORANDUM FOR BUREAU PERSONNEL OFFICERS, EXECUTIVE OFFICERS AND TRAINING OFFICERS

SUBJECT:      FY2001 Senior Executive Service Forum Series

This memorandum and attached flyer announces the first seminar in the Senior Executive Service (SES) Forum Series for Fiscal Year 2001.  The Department of Justice, in partnership with a consortium of Federal agencies led by the Department of Labor, is sponsoring this Series, which is funded by the Attorney General's Special Projects Fund.  Please distribute the memo and attached information to your SES members.

The first seminar in the series, a "Post Election Conference", will be conducted on Thursday, November 9, 2000, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  It will be held at The International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Washington, DC 20004.

There is no-cost for attending the seminar.  The deadline for registration is October 30, 2000.  SES members can register by sending an e-mail to alejandro.m.bartning@usdoj.gov or by phoning Alex Bartning, on (202) 616-3619.  The seminar will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis with the first 25 registrants.  If more than 25 SES members register, there will be a wait list, in case of last minute cancellations.  All confirmed participants will be notified when they are on the roster.
