MEMORANDUM FOR BUREAU PERSONNEL OFFICERS

By memorandum dated November 2, 2002, copy attached, you were informed of the Second National Career Services Conference (NCSC) to be held on May 5-6, 2003, at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland.

The cost to participate in this conference is $12,000 per agency. This fee covers ten registrations, one booth, and one presentation per agency. The Department will participate in this conference and has been allotted ten registrations and one booth. Bureaus wishing to participate will be given one registration slot at no cost.

If you are interested in having your component represented at this conference, please provide the name, telephone number and e-mail address of your representative to LaShon Adams, of my staff's Policy Group, by Thursday, March 6, 2003. The first meeting to coordinate the Department's participation in the conference will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at 11:00 a..m. in Room 1110 of the National Place Building. Questions regarding the conference may be referred to Mrs. Adams.
