MEMORANDUM FOR BUREAU HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICERS

Attached is a memorandum from the President's Pay Agent on the extension of locality payments to non-General Schedule employees. The memorandum addresses the decision of the President's Pay Agent to extend the 2007 locality-based comparability payments to the same Government-wide and single-agency categories for employees authorized to receive the 2006 locality payments.

There are two attachments to the memorandum. Attachment 1 shows the Government-wide categories of non-General Schedule employees that will receive locality pay extensions for 2007. Attachment 2, which includes Immigration Judges in the Department, reflects single-agency categories that also are entitled to receive an extension on locality payments for 2007. Consequently, there will be no need for further action by components on either of these attachments.
