Denver-area Employers Invited to Participate in Free Labor Department ForumWages, Pension and Job Safety Workshop TopicsDENVER, CO -- Information on federal wage laws, job safety and health, pension protection, affirmative action programs, veteran’s re-employment rights and family and medical leave will highlight the first “Denver Employers Forum” Thursday, April 28 in Denver. This free event, sponsored by the regional agencies of the U.S. Labor Department, will be held at the Colorado Convention Center, 700 14th Street, Room 201, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Regional administrators from the various agencies will present a short overview of their agencies laws and programs from 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. followed by two concurrent workshop sessions beginning at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. For more information on the forum and to pre-register for the workshop sessions contact the department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs at (720) 264-3200 or e-mail at denverforum2005@yahoo.com. ### U.S. Department of Labor releases are accessible on the Internet at www.dol.gov.
