Atrial Fibrillation

If you are 18 older and have a history of symptomatic atrial fibrillation (paroxysmal or persistent), you may qualify for this study.

COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)

If you have severe emphysema in most of both lungs, are 35 or older, willing to stop smoking at least eight weeks before entering the trial, and meet certain pulmonary test criteria, you may qualify for this study.

The research site is in Baltimore, Md.

Healthy Patient Studies

If you are aged 18 to 65, live within one hour of Boston, are able to participate for 17 weeks, and are not pregnant or breastfeeding, you may qualify for this study.
