Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried to Brief on the Moscow 2+2 Meetings

On Friday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m. Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried will brief on camera and on the record on Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s trip to Moscow on October 12-13 to engage in strategic security talks. Press wishing to attend the event should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance of the State Department by 11:00 a.m.

To attend this event, members of the media must present: (1) a media-issued photo identification card, (2) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport), or (3) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center).
