If your organization is hosting or coordinating a health fair, conference or other type of event and would like to have a Campaign representative speak or conduct a workshop on HIV and testing, please contact us at: takecontrol@hhs.gov.
The Campaign will consider sending a representative to an event that meets the following criteria:
Occurs no less than one month from the date of request
Provides an opportunity to speak to a group of at least 200 people
Offers opportunities to distribute Campaign materials to communities that are significantly impacted by HIV and AIDS
Your e-mail request for a speaker should include:
Event Name Event Date(s) Name of the Event Sponsor or Organization Contact Information (phone and e-mail address) for the Event Organizer Number of Anticipated Attendees
Please allow 5-7 days for a Campaign representative to contact you regarding your request. All requests for a Campaign speaker will be considered and evaluated based upon receipt of requisite information and availability of Campaign representatives to attend the event.
