Governor Tim Kaine Addresses 500 Attendees at Gala
Virginia Governor Tim Kaine last week introduced Mauricio Ayala as the student keynote speaker at the 15th Annual Hispanic College Fund Scholarship Awards Gala on October 17, 2008. Governor Kaine recognized Ayala as a Latino role model who inspires students and scholarship sponsors from across the nation.

Hispanic College Fund Launching Hispanic Youth Symposium Recruitment Drive Tomorrow at Belmont High School
The Hispanic College Fund will launch a promotional campaign at Belmont High School in Los Angeles tomorrow to encourage participation in the 2009 Los Angeles Hispanic Youth Symposium as well as college and career achievement. Over 1,000 freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are expected to attend the lunchtime event. |
