The 2008 National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media was a huge success with a record number of attendees. We would like to thank all of the conference participants for sharing their expertise and truly engaging themselves in the conference. The conference planning team would also like to thank to the staff in CDC's National Center for Health Marketing, the Office of Enterprise Communication, and our co-sponsors, the National Public Health Information Coalition and the National Cancer Institute for their work on the conference and commitment to advancing the disciplines of health communication, marketing and media.

From the extraordinary plenary sessions, breakout sessions, poster presentations, and pre-conference workshops, the conference provided a wealth of opportunities to learn about the many facets of health communication, marketing, and media.
