Justice Edwin Cameron adds a new dimension to China - Africa relations

The South African Supreme Court Judge Edwin Cameron visited China from 27th to 31st October at the invitation of China’s Ministry of Health and UNAIDS. Through his visit, he set out to support the response to AIDS in China with a special focus on legal issues, discrimination and rights of people living with HIV. Read more

Call for nominations: UNAIDS PCB NGO Delegates

The UNAIDS PCB NGO Delegation invites interested individuals and NGOs to represent civil society at the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) for the 2009-2010 period. This nomination will be operated by the PCB NGO delegation Communication and Consultation Facility, established in April 2008.

UNAIDS has set up an international task team to heighten attention to the issue of HIV-related travel restrictions on international and national agendas.

UNGASS 2008: Country progress reports

In compliance with the Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS signed in June 2001, as of 7 March 2008, 147 countries have submitted their country progress reports to UNAIDS.
