FY 2002: $6.5 million, NIH set aside.
FY 2003: $7.2 million, NIH set aside; $0.5 million, AHRQ budget authority.
FY 2004: $7.4 million, NIH set aside; $0.5 million, AHRQ budget authority.
FY 2005: $7.6 million, NIH set aside; $0.5 million, AHRQ budget authority.
FY 2006: $7.6 million, NIH set aside; $0.5 million, AHRQ budget authority.FY 2006: $7.7 million, NIH set aside; $0.5 million, AHRQ budget authority.

From FY 1990 through FY 1995, and in FY 1999 and FY 2000, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) used budget authority to supplement NRSA dollars. Beginning in FY 1993, AHRQ's allocation of NRSA funds increased from .5% to 1% of the National Institutes of Health's (NIH) NRSA appropriation.
