Robby Robson, Chair of the IEEE LTSC, discusses the LTSC’s latest work with e-learning specifications and standards development, as well as some future activities. He outlines the standards and specification currently in progress and the process for making them "official."
Wayne Hodgins discusses the latest e-learning standardization activities in the European e-learning community. These activities include ARIADNE and the ProLearn project, which deals with technology-enhanced professional learning.
Steve Griffin of the IMS Global Learning Consortium, Inc. offers Plugfest 9 attendees an overview of the history, current status and future goals for IMS’ work with e-learning standardization. IMS is a key contributor to SCORM and other ADL activities.
