Mission
ADL JPTC's mission is to advance research, development and implementation of modern content management strategies to improve learning data readiness and human performance. To enable this mission, the JPTC promotes research into harmonizing data specifications with SCORM that improve life cycle business processes. Serving as an honest broker for programs looking to reduce total ownership costs, it promotes new thinking in learning content management. That new thinking identifies learning content as one member in a family of information that supports a common product. ADL JPTC looks to improve learning content acquisition, production and management through the strategic use of industry data standards for all related product data. These measures help promote collaboration between content developers in the pursuit of reusable, accurate and timely data.
