Release Date: 6/1/2007

Author: ADL Technical Team

The purpose of the SCORM 2004 3rd Edition Manifest Basics Content Example (MBCE) Version 1.0 is to provide Manifest information in preparation for implementation of SCORM 2004 3rd Edition projects. This example was created to build foundational knowledge on the key concepts that apply to a Manifest and the Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 2004 3rd Edition. A Manifest is an extensible markup language (XML) document that contains a structured inventory of the contents of a package. The Manifest is also the place where content developers define the sequencing rules associated with the learning activities.
