About

The ADL Co-Laboratory (ADL Co-Lab) Hub, established in 1999 and located in Alexandria, Virginia, is under the direction of GA Redding.

The ADL Co-Lab Hub serves as a clearinghouse across organizational boundaries to coordinate and lead the systematic development and refinement of the future learning environment.

The ADL Co-Lab Hub is sponsored by the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Labor (DOL) and National Guard Bureau (NGB).

Mission

The ADL Co-Lab Hub operates to stimulate development of technologies that enhance learning and performance across the DoD and other Federal agencies. The ADL Co-Lab Hub serves as the Initiative's central organization for guiding, coordinating and integrating the operations of the ADL Co-Lab Network and operates under the direction of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).

The OSD established a Job Performance Technology Center (JPTC) within the ADL Co-Lab Hub. The JPTC supports DoD and federal programs with innovative learning content management and production solutions that support data readiness, product life cycle logistics and human performance.


The Training Evaluation Team is located within the ADL Co-Lab Hub. The team provides consulting services to Department of Defense organizations for evaluating and improving the quality of Web-based training courses.

As the ADL Co-Laboratory (ADL Co-Lab) Hub Director, G A is responsible for developing and directing an open and collaborative environment for sharing learning technology research, development, implementation and evaluations across public and private sector domains. Responsibilities also include managing multiple support contracts on behalf of the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative.
