The acquisition.gov website is supported by the Integrated Acquisition Environment, one of the E-Government initiatives in the President's Management Agenda. It is managed by the General Services Administration.

The pages on www.acquisition.gov may include hypertext links or pointers to information created and maintained by other public and private organizations.  When you link to any of these sites, you are no longer on acquisition.gov and are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.  The inclusion of links and pointers to websites is not intended to assign importance to those sites or to the information contained on those sites. Acquisition.gov does not use cookies to collect any personally identifying information from users or to track user activities.  The website employs cookies to provide better service to its customers.  The only information that is automatically collected and stored is:

  • the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example: aol.com if you are connecting from an AOL account, or Harvard.edu if you are connecting from Harvard University's domain);
  • the date and time of your visit;
  • the pages you visit on www.acquisition.gov; and
  • the Internet address of the website you came from if it linked you directly to www.acquisition.gov.
