1.   Bone Health and Osteoporosis: A Report of the Surgeon General - This site provides information about the Surgeon General's report on Bone Health and Osteoporosis. It includes the full report, the press release, and remarks by the Department of Health and Human Services Secretary and the Surgeon General. In addition, it provides several fact sheets on osteoporosis and bone health intended for the general public.

2.   Mental Health: Culture, Race, and Ethnicity - A Supplement to Mental Health: A Report of the Surgeon General - This report is a follow-up to the 1999 Surgeon General's Report on Mental Health. It provides information on the prevalence of mental health problems in minority communities. It explains why minorities are at risk for developing a mental illness and how to ensure that they have equal access to treatment services.

4.   The Health Consequences of Smoking: A Report of the Surgeon General - This report provides information on how smoking affects the body. On this site you can view the full report and fact sheets that explain how smoking can affect children, adults, and seniors. It also contains an interactive, animated tool that details the effects that smoking can have on the different parts of the body.

5.   The Surgeon General’s Call to Action to Improve the Health and Wellness of Persons with Disabilities - This Call to Action to Improve the Health and Wellness of Persons with Disabilities is built on the need to promote accessible, comprehensive health care that enables persons with disabilities to have a full life in the community with integrated services, consistent with the President’s New Freedom Initiative.

6.   Women and Smoking: A Report of the Surgeon General - This website provides links to the 2001 Surgeon General's Report as well as other resources and information about tobacco, smoking and smoking cessation. It provides a composite overview of smoking and health issues among woman and girls in the United States.

7.   Youth Violence: A Report of the Surgeon General - This report provides an overview of youth violence and the challenges of this issue. It also explains what families, school administrators, teachers, the public health community, and the general community can do to help prevent youth violence.
