SUBPART 1423.1 -- POLLUTION CONTROL AND CLEAN AIR AND WATER
(c) The AS/PMB is authorized to exempt contracts from the requirements of FAR Subpart 23.1 under the conditions in FAR 23.104(c). Requests for exemptions shall be made in writing by the CO and forwarded through the HCA to the Director, PAM for further action.
1423.107 Compliance responsibilities
Conditions involving noncompliance with clean air or water standards in facilities used in performing nonexempt contracts shall be reported in writing by the CO to the HCA for transmittal directly to the EPA Administrator. The HCA authority shall not be redelegated. A copy of the report shall be promptly forwarded to the Director, PAM.
