Metamorphic petrology and structural geology; tectonics; thermochronology.

Current research projects (task leader):
1) Investigation of the syngenetic massive sulfide (Pb-Zn-Cu) potential of the Nome Group, an extensive metamorphic unit on the Seward Peninsula, Alaska;
2) Synthesis of a new geologic map of the Yukon Flats region, Alaska;
3) Synthesis of a new geologic map of the southern Brooks Range, Alaska.
