Office of the U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon
Year Started: 1993
The U.S. Department of the Army (Army) uses hydrologic information to assist in pollution prevention to its water resources in an effort to support development of an Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP) for Fort Gordon, Ga. An effective INRMP ensures that natural resource conservation measures and Army activities on the military base are integrated and consistent with Federal requirements to manage installations on an ecosystem basis. Hydrologic data have been collected since 1993 by the USGS on the base to help support their INRMP.
The following tasks have been implemented and data collected to meet the requirements for the Fort Gordon INRMP.
