American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition

Mission statement:

The American Society for Parental and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) is a professional and scientific organization, established to encourage the development of improved patient care through clinical nutritional support of patients during hospitalization and rehabilitation. ASPEN provides education for health care professionals interested in intravenous and tube feeding of sick standards of care for nutritional assessment and support of patients. ASPEN program meetings provide continuing education credit in the areas of medicine, dietetics, nursing, and pharmacy.
