quick-and-easy recipe that is loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Harvest Vegetable Salad
Fall is apple season. Find a place to go during the weekend to
pick your own. Apples can be packed in your backpack, brief case,
or purse. Try adding finely chopped apples to tuna or chicken
salad.
Breaks are welcome after sitting for a long time. Take a 15 minute
activity break every hour you read, work, or watch TV.
Do you know what the vegetable of

This is National Cherries Jubilee Day (24). Add some fresh cherries

throw the cherries and yogurt in a blender, and make a smoothie.
Physical activity is important to all ages. Don't forget to

that right out of your own yard?
Time to spend time with your female friends to celebrate Women's
Health and Fitness Day. Plan a hike through a park or a stroll
through the neighborhood.
Start multitasking. While watching the evening news, why not do
a 10-minute stretch? You'll be relaxed and more flexible no matter
what the day's news.
September is National Potato Month. Why not try a Yukon Gold or
Orange Sweet Potato variety?
