Mission statement:

The mission of the CoE is to develop a coordinated, unified framework in which to provide state-of-the-art clinical care for women, to teach health care providers and lay people about women's health issues, to create new programs to deliver information about preventive medicine to women and their families throughout the State of Indiana, to learn from women how to provide them with better and more user-friendly health care, to develop a research agenda linking basic science with clinical care, and to foster the development of careers of women in academic health centers.
