FACES: National Association for the Craniofacially Handicapped

Mission statement:

•FACES serves as a national clearinghouse of information and resources available concerning all types of craniofacial anomalies. •FACES works to increase public awareness of our work and the plight of those with severe craniofacial problems by publishing a quarterly newsletter and providing a national speakers bureau. •FACES provides financial assistance for secondary costs associated with medical treatment, such as food, transportation, and lodging to enable children and one companion to travel to major medical centers where multidisciplinary craniofacial teams provide the safest and most advanced treatments. •FACES restores hope to the family who cannot get their child the help he needs because they have no money to get to the medical center, and to the family who cannot go again because the money has run out.
