Safe Horizon

Mission statement:

Safe Horizon’s 24-hour hotlines currently receive calls from over 180,000 New Yorkers each year who have been victims of crime and abuse. Hotline crisis intervention specialists answer calls on domestic violence, crime, and sexual assault. Callers are assisted to safety, provided with access to resources including emergency lock replacement, food, transportation and shelter, and given referrals to programs that can help them further.
