Special Care Dentistry

Mission statement:

Special Care Dentistry (SCD) is the premier organization devoted to improving oral health for people with special needs. The three component organizations of SCD are the American Association of Hospital Dentists, The Academy of Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities, and the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry. SCD's goal is to act as a central focus for diverse individuals and groups with a common interest in oral health for people with special needs and direct its resources accordingly.
