Yankton
Field Research Station
Background
The
Station was established in 1978 as two entities: the Yankton Field Coordination
Unit and the Yankton Field Research Laboratory. The Unit and Laboratory were
combined in 1986 and renamed the Yankton Field Research Station.
The
mission of the Station is to investigate contaminant research concerns
associated with agricultural, industrial, and petroleum point and non-point
contaminants and how these contaminants affect important fish and wildlife
resources.
