John Barras, M.S. 1990. Louisiana State University. Leader of the Coastal Restoration Field Station, Baton Rouge, LA. Spatial analysis, geographic information systems, modeling, image processing.

Barras has experience in the integration of both raster and vector geographic information system theory and development of spatial analysis techniques for problem solving related to data manipulation and management. He also serves as the Planning Coordinator of the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection and Restoration Act.
