Colville River Special Area Management Plan and Environmental Assessment

The Finding of No Significant Impact and Decision Record for the Colville River Special Area Management Plan Environmental Assessment (EA) has been signed. The Management Plan provides consistent protections for the arctic peregrine falcon throughout the 2.44 million acre Colville River Special Area. Completion of the Management Plan and EA allows for oil and gas leasing in portions of the Colville River Special Area.

Copies of the Final Management Plan and EA are available at the BLM-ALaska Fairbanks District Office, 1150 University Avenue, Fairbanks, AK 99709.
