The North Carolina USGS collects and analyzes chemical and physical properties of water at gaging stations across the state. These real-time water-quality data are returned directly from field instruments. Instantaneous data are recorded at 5-minute to 1-hour intervals and uploaded to the data base every 4 hours. These pages provide data for the past eight days for all current North Carolina real-time water-quality stations. For historical data and expanded site information, please refer to NWIS Web.
