The Semiannual Report highlights significant audits and investigations conducted during the six month reporting period concerning the Department of Labor's programs and operations. In addition, the Semiannual Report outlines the criminal i Purpose: The Semiannual Report is used to keep the Congress and the Secretary informed as to the integrity and efficincy of DOL programs. The Semiannual Report details work involving labor racketeering, investigations and program audits. Agency Program: The OIG is an independent, objective entity in the Department of Labor (DOL) charged with promoting program efficiency, and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse in the Department's programs and operations.
