accidents involving chemicals in the workplace and recommendations to prevent
further accidents. 2) ErgoFacts - A periodic fact sheet on the results of an
employer's recognition and correction of ergonomic hazards through workplace
safety and health assistance. 3) FatalFacts - A periodic fact sheet on fatal
accidents occuring in the construction industry, the citations issued against
the company involved, and the precautions that others can take to avoid such
accidents. 4)SafeWorks - A periodic fact sheet on the results of a small
business employer's request for workplace safety and health assistance from
OSHA-funded consultation services. 5)News Releases for OPA's address and

Purpose: The
publications and videos available from OSHA's Office of Public Affairs(OPA) are
intended to provide employers, employees, and public citizens essential
information and assistance in identifying and/or avoiding and correcting
workplace hazards. They are further intended to provide assistance with
developing or improving an effective safety and health management system.
Agency Program: The publications and videos available from OSHA's
Office of Public Affairs(OPA) are part of a total OSHA information program,
internal and external, aimed at informing employees, employers, and the general
public about the importance of workplace safety and health, how to recognize
and avoid hazards, and how to correct unsafe or unhealthful working conditions.
