Accused Greene County Rapist, Andre
Williams Captured |

Frederick, MD. - A man who has
been charged with Rape of a child less than13 years of age in Greene
County, Virginia was captured this morning at an Econo Lodge Hotel
in Frederick, Maryland. Working on a lead provided by the U.S.
Marshal’s Service from the Western District of Virginia, members of
the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, Greenbelt Division
responded to the hotel early this morning to find Andre Alexander
Williams held up in the hotel with a female companion. Williams was
taken into custody without incident.
The arrest was a result of an extensive investigation lead by the
U.S. Marshal’s Service from the Western District of Virginia and the
Green County Sheriff’s Office.
In addition to the Federal Warrant for Unlawful Flight to Avoid
Prosecution, Williams had just finished serving a state sentence for
drug trafficking when he was charged by the Greene County
authorities. Williams awaits removal back to the Commonwealth of
Virginia.
