• Abstract: Adds a new final field sanitation standard (1928.110). This standard requires employers of 11 or more hand-laborers in the field to provide toilets, potable drinking water and handwashing facilities in the field without cost to these employees. This regulation becomes effective on May 30, 1987, when employers are required to provide potable drinking water, as specified in 1928.110(c)(1). Compliance with requirements for the provision of toilet and handwashing facilities in accordance with 1928.110(c)(2); for their maintenance, in accordance with 1928.110(c)(3); and for communication of information, in accordance with 1928.110(c)(4), must be achieved by July 30, 1987.

Abstract:

Adds a new final field sanitation standard (1928.110). This standard
requires employers of 11 or more hand-laborers in the field to
