Susan Lynn. Meyer

Plant Pathologist

Staff:

Biographical Information:

Dr. Meyer received her Master’s degree in Botany from the University of Minnesota and Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Georgia. She was subsequently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto and at York University, and then came to Beltsville, MD as a Research Plant Pathologist with the USDA/ARS Nematology Laboratory in 1986. Research Interests -Evaluate microbial antagonists of plant-parasitic nematodes, selected plant species and cultivars, and natural products for activity against nematodes. -Determine efficacy of active agents, alone or in combinations, for reducing nematode populations.
