The New York FECA District Office
has converted to Centralized Mail.
As a result, all of our mail except a small number of priority
categories -- will be directed to the agency's contractor in
Kentucky for handling. All FECA district offices have moved to centralized mail.
Our mailing address is:
U.S. Department of Labor
Federal Employees'
Compensation Program
P.O. Box 8300 - Region 2
London, Kentucky 40742-8300
The effective redirection of
our mail to the Kentucky address will free the time of our
district office staff to focus on internal case management and
other activities.
There are
exceptions to the centralized mail concept, and it is important
that you understand these!
We will continue to use our
current address for all Congressional inquiries. We will also
continue to use our current address for the receipt of all CA-1s/2s/2As/7s.
Finally, we will also continue to receive all requests for
medical authorization at our current address, although forms and
requests for medical authorization should be mailed to the above address or faxed to (800)215-4901.
These are the only
exceptions to the centralized submission of mail! All other mail
must be sent to Kentucky. General mail received in the office
will simply be boxed and shipped to Kentucky each day for sorting and processing.
Consequently, if mail is inappropriately routed to our former address, this will
cause a delay in its processing and receipt by office staff.
We are grateful to you for your cooperation.
