Form LM-30 Instructions Clarification

The instructions for the revised Form LM-30, Labor Organization Officer and Employee Report, have been clarified so that Example 2 on page 8 clearly indicates that an officer of an international union is not required to report his wife’s interest in an accounting firm that deals with an employer whose employees are represented by a local union that is subordinate to the official’s international union. The officer is also not required to report her salary from the firm or the dealings between her firm and the employer.
