Industrial hygienists have been concerned about the presence of Diglycidyl Ether during the manufacture of the epoxy resin called Diglycidyl Ether of Bisphenol A. Diglycidyl Ether is not present in this process. The starting compounds are Epichlorohydrin and Bisphenol A.
