Objective:
Evaluate milk or fermented milk on the survival and beneficial activity of probiotic bacteria in mammalian intestine.

Approach:
Deliver probiotic culture in 3 formats to neonatal pigs and determine probiotic survival and the associated impact on host immune response and intestinal epithelial function.
