Partnership Overview: This voluntary Partnership provides a means to improve employee safety practices, increase the level of formal employee safety training, enhance worker participation in the safety and health process, and reduce injuries to ready mixed concrete employees. This formal Partnership is expected to lower the injury and illness rates for participating member companies, as well as decrease worker compensation costs. This agreement serves as a model agreement for individual companies to use when seeking OSHA strategic Partnerships within their respective OSHA Regions/Areas. Partnership Goals:
NRMCA will use their SAfety First Evaluation (SAFE) program to review applications from interested members. The program will use a tiered system to recognize the level of safety and health performance of applicants and encourage continued improvement. |
