FY 2003 Competition

Two competitions were held in FY 2003: one for general applicants, and the other for novice applicants. A total of seventy-eight applications (57 general and 21 novice) were funded. The notices below pertain to both competitions, for which there were approximately $29 million in available funds ($21,130,460 for the general competition, and $8,148,092 for the novice applicant competition).

General Competition Closed: July 7, 2003

Novice Competition Closed: July 21, 2003

Definition of a Novice Applicant:
The applicant must (i) have never received a grant or a subgrant under the Community Technology Center program; (ii) have never been a member of a group application, submitted in accordance with 34 CFR 75.127-75.129, that received a grant under the Community Technology Centers program; and (iii) have not had an active discretionary grant from the Federal government in the five (5) years before the deadline date for applications in this competition.
