U.S.-India Global Issues ForumThe Government of India will host the sixth U.S.-India Global Issues Forum in New Delhi on April 24. Under Secretary for Democracy and Global Affairs, Paula J. Dobriansky will lead the U.S. delegation which will also include Assistant Secretary for Oceans, Environment, and Science Claudia McMurray and Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor David J. Kramer.
The U.S.-India Global Issues Forum develops new and expanded areas for cooperation between the two countries on multilateral issues such as the promotion of democracy, health, environmental protection, and human rights.
The U.S.-India Global Issues Forum has convened annually since 2002 and alternates between the two countries.
