Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs Dr. Paula Dobriansky will be joined by Under Secretary of Agriculture for Rural Development Thomas C. Dorr and other senior U.S. officials to promote broad stakeholder participation in Washington International Renewable Energy Conference (WIREC) 2008. Under Secretaries Dobriansky and Door will discuss WIREC and answer questions off-camera, on-the-record at 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in room 1107 at the State Department. Members of the press are also invited to attend an on-camera, on-the-record information and outreach session with senior U.S. government representatives from various federal agencies at approximately 9:00 a.m. in the Loy Henderson Conference Room.
