ALIEN PLEADS GUILTY TO REENTRY AFTER DEPORTATION

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
EDGAR LOPEZ-ALFARO, age 26, a resident of Mexico, pled guilty in federal court before U. S. District Judge Carl J. Barbier to one count of illegal reentry of a removed or deported alien, announced U. S. Attorney Jim Letten.
The defendant faces a possible maximum term of imprisonment of two (2) years, a fine of $250,000 and one year of supervised release following any term of imprisonment.
The case was investigated by Special Agents of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Irfan A. Saeed.
