HARTFORD MAN SENTENCED TO 15 MONTHS IN FEDERAL PRISON FOR POSSESSING PCP WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE Nora R. Dannehy, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that JOSUE MALDONADO, 27, of Amity Street, Hartford, was sentenced today by Senior United States District Judge Ellen Bree Burns in New Haven to 15 months of imprisonment, followed by six years of supervised release, for possessing with intent to distribute phencyclidine (“PCP”). MALDONADO pleaded guilty to the offense on April 4, 2008. According to documents filed with the Court and statements made in court, on January 10, 2007, MALDONADO knowingly possessed 18.5 grams of PCP with intent to distribute a portion of that quantity. This matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Hartford Police Department. | |
