Fort Madison Man Sentenced On Federal Gun Charges

DAVENPORT, IA - On March 3, 2008, Paul William Londrie, age 33, formerly of Fort Madison, Iowa was sentenced by United States District Court Judge John A. Jarvey to 100 months in federal prison, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. Londrie was sentenced after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm. Judge Jarvey also order Londrie to pay an assessment of $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.


There is no parole in the federal system. After release from prison, Londrie will be subject to two years of supervised release. Londrie pled guilty to possession of a Inter Arms, 9mm Luger handgun, after previously been convicted of a felony.


This case was prosecuted in the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of Iowa pursuant to the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative. This investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Lee County Narcotics Task Force.
