FBMS Scope

The FBMS project includes all bureaus under the Secretary of the Interior’s jurisdiction. FBMS will be phased in by functionality and by bureau through annual deployments. The fourth FBMS deployment is scheduled to Go-Live in November 2008.

In Deployment 4, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will maintain the momentum of Core Financials, Acquisitions and Financial Assistance which have already been deployed to the Office of Surface Mining and Minerals Management Service. In addition all three above mentioned bureaus will be expanding functionality to include Personal Property and Fleet Management, E-Gov Travel and FedConnect for eCommerce.
