The vast majority of Americans work, and the vast majority of these
workers are parents, making the workplace an extremely effective setting
for prevention messages that have the power to spread exponentially
to America’s families, schools and communities.
For working parents and other caregivers, information about strategies
for preventing youth from using drugs can be a valuable accompaniment
to a drug-free workplace program. Distributing such information benefits
employees and their families and helps alleviate some of the serious
